Ivy was born August 30, 2013 and joined the Briards du Soleil family on Halloween. I loved her pedigree and knew she would contribute well to my line. She is a joy to live with. Ivy is the sweetest girl and loves everyone. She is a beautifully balanced girl, with wonderful movement.
Ivy had some impressive wins in her show career. Her very first dog show at just 7 months old, Ivy won Best Puppy in Show. At 11 months old, Ivy was awarded Rassemblement Select - Excellent, and went Best Puppy in Rassemblement under French Judge Jacky Dillies, at the 2014 Briard Club of America National Specialty. Ivy earned both her majors going Winners Bitch at the Sept. 2014 Sunshine State Herding Group Herding Specialty Show under Judge Janina Laurin, and three months later in Dec. 2014, was Winners Bitch and Best of Winners at the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship under Judge Jimmy Moses. All, owner handled. She finished her Championship at 18 months old with 4 majors.
Ivy is an excellent performance dog as well. Ivy is the first Briard in the U.S. to earn a Dock Diving title (DN). She has also earned a Barn Hunt Title (RATN), a Herding title (PT), a Lure Coursing title (CA), and her CGC title. Ivy has also been training in rally. Due to my foot surgery and another injury, I have had to take a break from physical training with the girls, but I intend to get Ivy back out to continue in Herding and Dock Diving, hopefully in the near future.
Ivy had her first litter of beautiful puppies in January, 2016. She was bred to the handsome natural eared boy, Cedar, from my first litter. Her daughter, Clover, was my keeper from that litter. Clover has already finished her Championship at just 15 months old.
